About AMPL

AMPL Advisory is a founder-led business and technology consultancy based in Ottawa, working with independent professionals and small and mid-sized businesses across Canada.

We help improve operations, make informed technology decisions, and turn important plans into practical changes.

Why AMPL exists

Smaller businesses face many of the same operational and technology decisions as larger organizations, with fewer people available to assess the options and manage the work.

AMPL brings together business analysis, practical technology knowledge, and project leadership to help owners and teams make those decisions and carry them through.

The experience behind the work

AMPL's founder brings experience in business ownership, day-to-day operations, project management, business analysis, and technology delivery across the private and public sectors, including the federal government.

That experience is supported by education in psychology, philosophy and logic, and project management, alongside Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and ongoing graduate study in Cloud Development and Operations.

This combination informs both sides of the work: understanding the business and the people within it, and working through the practical details of technology and delivery.

We bring those considerations together through conversations, analysis, visual explanations, and practical implementation planning.

Working with AMPL

You work directly with the person doing the work, with trusted specialists brought in when the engagement needs them.

We agree on scope, responsibilities, deliverables, and working arrangements before starting. Where specialist skills are required, we define their role and coordinate their contribution as part of the engagement.

Remote support is available across Canada, with in-person meetings and site visits in Ottawa and the surrounding National Capital Region.
